These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PureTone mobile application and this website (together, “PureTone,” the “app,” or the “service”). By creating an account or using PureTone, you agree to these Terms.
PureTone lets you choose a mood and an amount of time, and curates a listening session from a library of classical recordings, presented at 432 Hz. PureTone uses software to assemble each session from real recordings — it does not generate or synthesize music, and it does not make medical, therapeutic, or guaranteed-outcome claims about what listening will do for you.
You need an account to use PureTone’s core features. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be able to consent to these Terms to create an account; PureTone is not directed at children under 13.
You agree not to: use PureTone for any unlawful purpose; attempt to extract, redistribute, or resell the recordings PureTone streams; attempt to circumvent authentication or access controls; or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
PureTone’s recordings are drawn from a mix of licensed and public-domain sources. Where a recording requires attribution or carries a share-alike obligation, that information is published on the Music Credits page. Your use of PureTone does not grant you any rights to the underlying recordings beyond listening within the app.
PureTone intends to offer a paid plan. As of this page’s last-updated date above, checkout is not yet live — see the Membership page for current status. Once checkout is available, separate terms covering billing, renewal, and cancellation will apply and will be presented before any purchase.
PureTone is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and features described here may change as PureTone develops.
You may stop using PureTone at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms.
PureTone is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PureTone does not guarantee any particular emotional, physical, or cognitive outcome from listening to its sessions.
We may update these Terms as PureTone changes. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of PureTone after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
